Jessica Doerner started kickboxing/boxing in 2003, while stationed at Scott AFB, IL. In 2005, she moved to Minot AFB, ND and continued to hone her skills, adding grappling to her training and competing in 50 amateur boxing matches. She turned pro in 2011, competing in 9 pro Mixed Martial Arts matches and 1 pro boxing match. Her last fight was in Honolulu, HI in 2015.
Over the years, Jessica developed a passion for coaching and judging. Most recently, while deployed in the Middle East, she helped organize and train a boxing team in 2023-24. She helped train the judges for the event and advised on safety measures, so they could develop a legacy event. The event was a huge morale booster for the deployed Airman and Soldiers and will continue during future deployment rotations.
Jessica is currently a full-time activated member of the Kansas Air National Guard and holds the rank of Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). Her career field is All-Domain Command and Control Operations. Her love for boxing and martial arts is a huge part of who she is. She loves the confidence it gives to each person as they grow in the sport and believes that it is truly amazing to see how this sport brings people together. She is extremely grateful to be able to share her knowledge as a coach and be a part of this sport.
